Lord Shiva Pujas

Uma Maheshwari Puja is conducted to seek the Divine blessings of cordial and harmonious relationship between couples and happiness and bliss at home. During the Uma Maheshwari Puja, Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva are invoked and worshipped and their Divine blessings are sought. Uma is another name for Goddess Parvati, who is the mother Goddess of the Universe. She underwent hard penance to have Lord Shiva as His consort. Their union is what gives birth to all creation.
