In Vedic Astrology, there are 27 Nakshatras which are sectors or divisions of the sky. The moon takes around 27 days to orbit the Earth, thus each day the Moon passes through one Nakshatra. On the day of one’s birth in whichever Nakshatra the Moon is placed is known as Janma Nakshatra. The Janma Nakshatra has profound influence in one’s life, it impacts emotional development, early childhood stability, relationships with parents and overall direction of life.
