Goddess Durga Pujas

Navadurga or Nav Durga are nine forms or manifestations of Goddess Durga that are primarily worshipped during nine days of Navratri festival. Each day of the nine-day festival one Goddess is invoked and worshipped and Her blessings are sought. Together the Navadurga Goddesses bestows all-round health, wealth, prosperity, protection and abundance on devotees. The Navadurga Goddesses are Goddess Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri. Goddess Durga manifested to vanquish asura Mahishasura through combined powers of Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. She encompasses in Her the powers of Goddess Maha Laxmi, Maha Saraswati and Maha Kali. She is a warrior Goddess, Her nine manifestations or Navdurga symbolize different aspects of the Mother Goddess. Each manifestation of the Navdurga Goddesses blesses devotees with a specific blessings and bestows on to them both material and spiritual fulfilment.

Navadurga Sadhana, Puja and Yajna is an elaborate and powerful Puja ritual in which all nine Navdurga Goddesses are invoked and worshipped and their Divine blessings are sought for good health, protection, prosperity, growth and success. Goddess Durga is worshiped as Shakti or Adi Shakti meaning Para Brahman by Shakti Sadhaks. She is from which all creation originates and finally dissolves into; She is the supreme creator, sustained and destroyer. She blesses Her devotees with courage, wisdom, protection, victory, prosperity and progress.
