Lord Shiva Pujas

During the Shiv Parivar Puja, Lord Shiva along with Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha, Lord Kartikeya and Lord Nandi are invoked and worshipped. The Shiv Parivar Puja is an elaborate and powerful Puja done for overall wellbeing and prosperity of family, along with peace or mind and spiritual augmentation.  

Lord Shiva is one of the three primary Deities of Dharma. For His devotees He is the Supreme Truth, He is from which all creation emerges and finally also dissolves into. He bestows His devotees with wisdom, knowledge and also materialistic growth and success. 

Goddess Parvati is manifestation of Maa Shakti and also Mother Goddess or Prakriti, She is who has manifested as Nav Durga and Das Mahavidya. She blesses Her devotees with good health, wealth, prosperity and peace. 

Lord Kartikeya or Lord Subramanya is the elder son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, He is a warrior God who blesses His devotees with courage, confidence, power, fearlessness and vigor. He also bestows His devotees with intellect, wisdom, knowledge and ability to learn.   

Lord Ganesha is also called Vighnaharta meaning remover of obstacles. He is the younger son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. He is the God of auspicious beginnings who removes hurdles and obstacles from the ath of success. Lord Ganesha is also known by other names such as Ashtavinayaka, Ekadanta, Gajanana, Vakratunda and Ganpati. He is also the God of knowledge who bestows prosperity, success, knowledge, and wisdom.

Lord Nandi is Lord Shiva's vahana, Guru of Lord Kartikeya, gatekeeper of Kailasha and chief amongst Shiva’s Ganas. It is believed that worship of Lord Shiva is incomplete without reverence to Lord Nandi. Lord Shiva and Lord Nandi have a Divine connection, a Nandi statue can always be found outside the Shiva Temple facing the Lingam. It is believed if one whispers his wish into Lord Nandi's ear, they reach Lord Shiva for sure. 

Worshipping the Shiva Parivar together is an ideal way to seek blessings of overall growth, prosperity and abundance in all spheres of life. It is also an excellent way to overcome hard and challenging times and seek relief from malefic effects of Planetary Doshas.
